The exhibition ran alongside the international conference on genetics, which was hosted by the Genetics Society of Australasia with the NZ Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Zellmer, J (2019) Sector contribution. Selected by a small core group of sector leaders to participate in two national craft/object art sector forums initiated by the Blumhardt Foundation, NZ; these took place in January and November 2019 in Wellington and Auckland. Funded by the Foundation and Creative NZ, the initiative is a pilot project that is sought to contribute to enhanced sector development and leadership. The two events are facilitated by independent coach Peter Rowlands, who published two formal reports that summarise the group’s recommendations and new initiatives.
